Please be aware of the healing process to avoid stressing out about your PMU:

Immediately after the procedure, your new PMU will look vibrant and bold. You may experience some redness/swelling but this is temporary and will subside.

You will go through several healing stages where your PMU will start to look noticeably darker in color/slightly uneven in appearance, then they will become scabbed/flaky and itchy(DO NOT pick or scratch), then finally your PMU will seem to fade and disappear (this is also known as the ghosting stage). Color fading and loss of hair strokes during the healing process is normal and will vary with skin type.

Once you go through a full cycle of skin regeneration (4-6 weeks), color will start to resurface. Most, but not all of the pigment will remain and color may look patchy. A follow-up touch-up session at 6-10 weeks is required to complete the procedure process. At the perfecting touch-up appointment, we will assess what areas need to be filled in to achieve the desired result. The procedure area will need to be fully healed before we can address any concerns (about 6 weeks).

FAILURE TO FOLLOW PRE-CARE AND AFTER-CARE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN POOR PIGMENT RETENTION AND LOSS OF COLOR.
